Affiliate disclosure

Some links on NaijaCalc are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may receive a commission. It never costs you more — the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go direct.

This page explains how that works and, more importantly, what it does and does not influence.

What it does not influence

Affiliate relationships do not determine what we recommend, and they cannot change a number on this site. The calculators and data are generated from files that have nothing to do with any commercial partner, and a partner has no ability to edit them.

If we think a product is poor, we say so or we do not mention it. There is no paid placement, no sponsored ranking, and no content written at a partner's request.

How you can tell which links are which

Every affiliate link on this site:

• carries rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" in the HTML, which is what Google requires
• opens in a new tab
• appears inside a clearly marked "Related offers" block, never buried in body text
• has a disclosure line immediately beneath it

You can also see the complete list on the offers page, including our commission rate and verification status for each one.

Verification status

We mark each offer with a status. Verified means we have used the service or confirmed its current terms. Unverified means we have listed it because it is relevant and widely used, but we have not personally confirmed the details — and we say so rather than implying certainty we do not have.

Commission rates and product terms change. We do not quote a fixed figure in body copy where it can go stale.

Advertising

The site also carries display advertising. Ad networks, including Google AdSense when enabled, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google's Ads Settings, and third-party vendor cookies can be disabled at aboutads.info.

Advertising never appears inside a calculator's input or result area, where it could be mistaken for output.
