How accurate is the data?
Every figure on this site carries a source and a date, and a confidence rating. The tax bands come from the Nigeria Tax Act 2025 and are exact. Prices and salary ranges are compiled estimates and are labelled as such. Nothing here is a quote or an offer.
What changed in the 2026 tax law?
The Consolidated Relief Allowance was abolished and replaced by a flat ₦800,000 tax-free band, with six progressive rates from 0% to 25%. Most workers below roughly ₦4m a year pay less than they did before.
